Geotechnical Services (Northern) Limited was formed in 1994 by a small team of specialist consultants dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in ground investigation by ensuring personal responsibility for the day to day control of all the projects undertaken.

The Company was launched as a management buy out of the Geo-technical Services Unit of Sheffield City Council. This Unit had built up some thirty years expertise in site and ground investigations for the Local Authorities in South Yorkshire and beyond, and for an increasing number of private developers and consultants.

The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance and is registered for VAT.
